A special NIA court in Ahmedabad found Birju Kishore Salla, 38, guilty of planting a hijack threat letter on a Mumbai-Delhi Jet Airways flight. The court sentenced him to life imprisonment for the remainder of his natural life along with a fine of ₹5 crore.
